First Restaurant Review: Seso Loco
Located on the airport strip past Soggy Peso, towards Villa Vera, Seso Loco is a favorite of locals and tourists alike. It used to be in El Centro next to Fredy’s but has since relocated.
Your first clue that a restaurant is worth eating it is if it’s a place you see locals there. And this place is popular among the locals. The prices are pretty good, the service is great and the food is pretty yummy as well! They are known for their pizza (it’s thin crust) but they also have great mexican food as well as steaks and sea food.
Our restaurant reviewer had the Fish Fillet in a Creamy Mango Sauce and reported back that the only word to describe it was YUM (yes, in capitals). Plans have already been made to go back.
All in all for the price, the ambience, the food, and the service this restaurant gets 4 stars out of 5. Although it’s out of town, it’s worth the taxi ride, and it’s our belief that anyone who considers themselves an Isla Lover should try to get out of El Centro and into the colonias as often as possible.
